Completed in 2023 at Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club on Guana Cay, Abaco, this landscape was designed to complement the home’s formal stone architecture while introducing a softer, more natural feel throughout the property. With stone used extensively on the house, retaining walls, and garden walls, broken stone and crazy paving were chosen for walkways and flat surfaces to add texture and balance. A winding driveway responds to both the site’s elevation changes and a desire to create a more gradual sense of arrival, offering privacy from the road while revealing the property piece by piece.

On the exposed ocean-facing side, salt- and wind-tolerant planting was used to withstand the northern coastal conditions, while green buttonwood, sea grape, and clusia provide layered screening along the road and neighboring properties. Unique features like a wood-burning fire pit tucked beside the dune and a hidden lower parterre garden with labyrinth-inspired design centered around a Bismarckia palm help create a property that feels both private and full of discovery.
