PROJECT

Starting with a clean sheet, we created a modern tropical garden defined by geometric and minimal forms; the geometric lawn, the concrete pavers and the interlocking planters are samples of this design language.

We borrowed the nearby green backdrop and added a layer of tropical planting along the boundaries thus visually merging the garden with the surrounding.

The planting selection is defined by an upper palm canopy layer punctuated with native columnar or small flowering trees. The arrangement is to frame focal view from the interior while giving a sense of privacy.
